The National Theater was a massive collaboration of architects and artists, serving not only as a theater for the performing arts but also an exhibition hall for sculpture and painting It includes works from major Czech artists in every aspect of tits design. Rodin's second copy of Mahler is here. Shortly after it was constructed, it burnt down and reconstruction was necessary. Smetana's Libuse was the premiere performance of the theater on 18th November 1883. Zofin is the yellow palace nestling under the Legion Bridge. The crown of the National Theater can be seen in background.
